Shantel "Shay" Patrice Taylor is a Christian American intercessor, prophetess, encourager, author, Bible teacher and servant of Lord. After years of accomplishing educational achievements, working in various industries, and traveling to 7 countries living what she presumed to be her best life; Shantel began to feel like there was more to life than what she had been experiencing. She was happy but not fulfilled and she felt insecure within herself a lot of the times which made her feel bad about her self image. Among other things, that caused her to go back to church to try to feel better about her growing discontentment with life and her then relationship.
At the age of 27 Shantel was led by the Holy Spirit out of an unequally yoked relationship of 8 years after answering the call of God to surrender her body as a living sacrifice that is Holy and acceptable to Him as an act of worship (Romans 12.1). Despite experiencing the deepest heartbreak she had every known, Shantel clung to God's Word and Christ centered Community to help her heal.
As she continued to lay down areas in her life that the Lord revealed were idols in her heart, Shantel began to receive the oil of God's joy, grow closer with Him, be set free and delivered from demonic spirits, and build her own authentic relationship of dependency with Holy Spirit.
God taught Shantel how much He loved her and how to value who He designed her to be and all about her identity through His Word. As she humbled herself to receive correction and unlearn religious routines and unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors she began to truly understand what her confession of faith in Christ meant and how to align her life with the heart of God and the values He established for us in His Word.
Shantel believes the Bible is the infallible Word of God and the final authority for salvation and Christian living. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20,21)
&& that the Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again and that we are saved by grace through faith. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
&& that we partake of the Gospel by embracing His death through repentance, His burial through baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ, and His Resurrection by accepting and receiving the free gift of His Spirit, the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38-39)
&& that we get to celebrate and remember Jesus' sacrifice through communion and we do not need a preacher to do this we can do it at home (Matthew 26:17-30, 1 Corinthians 11:23-30).
&& lastly that Jesus will return for His church. (1 Corinthians 15:51-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18) and there will be a final resurrection and a final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (Matthew 25:31-46).
By inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Shantel founded Speak the Word Declarations™in 2019. This ministry has a mission to change the world by changing the words that we speak. Proverbs 18.21 says that the power of life and death are in the tounge and whatever we speak we will have! Biblical affirmations that the Lord led Shantel to create to teach her about her identity in Christ are recreated for other women of God to help them understand what God says about who they are and equip them to align their words with what He says about them so they too can see His transformation power manifest in every area of their lives!
Shantel is also a small business owner with big plans to use technology to advance the Kingdom of God through digital media. Stay connected with Shantel so you can be a witness to all that is to come through her life for the Glory of God the Father!
